At what conditions would you accept to pay to read a blog?

I've been pondering whether I would accept pay to read a blog someone else had written and I was working through my wish list... 

In terms of monetising sites, there are lots of options, but I think most people consider the "blog" the free bit to get you interested to buy their other "high value add" services. 

If you want to get paid for being a writer, there are lots of ways of doing so. 

Paying for information is different, so I think you are looking at micro payments - eg the cost of a paper or magazine.
