I feel your frustration. It's can be very annoying and worrying when you don't know what to expect, and find you don't want what you get.
Did you know that there is a very easy way to uninstall the Outlook tool bar?
Here's How:
1. Open your Windows Control Panel
2 Select Add/Remove Programs
3. Highlight the Linkein Tool bar and select Remove.
I hope you won't let this initial frustration deter you from exploring Linkedin.
I really like the facility and would be happy to share how I get it to work for me. I don't always have lots of time to help, but there is usually someone who can share useful tips.
By the way, there is a Help section for the most frequently asked questions (top of screen). Maybe having a quick scan will give you an idea of how to get started quickly to get things done.
All the best,
Alison
