The Change Management Office - an emerging entity

I'm with Frank, CMOs are similar to PMOs; however they have a subtle difference of focus... These are big areas. Here's my 60 second sound bite.

In my book, PMOs gather the intelligence - how much money do we need, how many resources, what are the priorities, will it deliver the benefits (and has it done so), methodologies, and the HOW of getting things done - eg procedural.

CMOs figure out how to make the cultural change happen... building the vision, breaking down barriers, flooding the grapevine with the right kind of juicy gossip, communications, conversational techniques, team performance improvement, facilitation, training, etc. You get the drift.
