I'm going to assume your question is "How do I reinvite imported contacts?"
Here what you do:
1. Open your Imported Contacts tab (it's in the menu bar in the left in the Contacts section).
2. Select which one(s) you want to invite. (I prefer and recommend individual emails so I can customise it.
3. Add a personal note (tick the box) and give a compelling reason for them to connect with you on LinkedIn (bear in mind there are still those who have never heard of LinkedIn).
4. Follow up with a phone call if you haven't had a response in a few days.
"Did you get my email about LinkedIn?"
"Great, because
- I was worried you didn't receive it." (if they haven't yet opened it)
- I just wanted to tell you why we should connect" (if they haven't taken action yet and it's just sitting there).
"I really wanted to connect with you on LinkedIn because _____".
"It's really easy to use and there are over 36 million users - you never know whom you might find already there. I found _____. It would be a great way to find ______."
You get the idea by now I hope.
Energy, Enthusiasm, Action (the right one, the best way). This action plan is one of the best ways I have found to build my network - one person at a time.
