I'm glad to say that I haven't been in the "Free work" club for quite a while, but whilst I was recruiting technologists, I used to be deluged with requests to recommend someone for a job - for free of course!
I think if you take your email addy out of your byline that you will see the number of requests dwindle. If that doesn't work, just mention at the top of your profile that you have a "special rate of $XXXXXXXXX for new business startups" looking for creative input.
