Most that disable the connections browse feature do so for a reason.
Does it matter? No.
Why would you spend hours trawling through someone's individual connections when you can either do a LinkedIn search or an internet search and find what you seek quickly.
Do you NOT trust them to have a good reason?
Are you afraid they won't forward an introduction?
Are you really out to rape and pillage their contact points?
Respect the differences in the ways that people use LinkedIn - once one recognises that there is no "One right way" one begins the voyage of discover in how to get LinkedIn to work them.
