HOW CAN SOMEONE CAPITALIZE ON EVENTS IN NEW YORK, FOR EXAMPLE FLEET WEEK, IF YOU ARE A BRICK & MOTOR AND NOT IN NEW YORK CITY DIRECTLY BUT RIGHT OUTSI

Alison's Contribution:

I'm not sure if your underlying problem is that you don't hear about them in time or you're not allowed to participate - or indeed something else

Here are some suggestions:

1. Set up a calendar of events - particularly annual events (complete with organisers details, deadlines, etc)
2. If it's because you don't hear about the events in time: I suggest finding firms who will keep you in touch with what is happening. Some of the larger events organisers probably have a diary function. Scan regularly to pick up new items. PR agencies might be another source.
3. If it's because you're not allowed to participate: I suggest opening a two man office (one in case the other has a heart attack) - or what ever the minimum is to qualify for participation.

Hope this helps.

All the best,

Alison
