Networking

Alison's contribution:

I'm now "wireless" technologically speaking and it's great! First mobile, then IR, now home hub - some coax still in place.

Regarding People - I prefer to "network" with a name rather than an initial... two initials are at least one too many for me unless of course, you are R2D2 or C3P0 (eg trade marked).

So, you can see that I believe humour is the quickest way to connect two people and my 1st contact guide includes: rememberable, courteous, concise.

- Techniques - NLP, inspiration and courage supported by daily practice and learning; humour when every possible. Inspired/guided by great people - famous or not ** below **
- H-O-P-E & and remember-ability
Daily:
- Take what you need, give what you can freely. // Pay it forward.
- Learn something new & change one thing about yourself.
- Let someone touch you and thank them for it.
- Breathe deep & (7hats) Thought about how someone else would find delight in receiving 1st contact from you.

[For those that want everything that goes below, before, beside, behind and beyond this 60 second summary, let me know - happy to learn & share.]

** Let Your Light Shine **
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
Nelson Mandela, President of South Africa, (1994)
